Dr. Brooke Appelhans

Always wanting to be a dentist near Progress Ridge, Dr. Applehans earned her bachelor's degree in chemistry at Hastings College in Nebraska before enrolling at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. There, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2021 and completed a General Practice Residency at OHSU. During this time, she honed and refined her skills, including learning how to treat patients with special needs and complex medical issues.

Now that she leads the team at Caring Smiles Dental, she stays up to date on the latest advancements in the field, ensuring she provides her patients with nothing but the best.

When she’s not in the office, you’ll find her hiking the trails in the Columbia Gorge, visiting Mt. Hood, spending time with her cat, Fergie, and exploring various shops, vineyards, antique stores, parks, and restaurants nearby. She also enjoys crocheting, baking, and making homemade ice cream.
