Effie – Dental Hygienist
Effie brings several years of experience as a dental hygienist to our patients. Her favorite part of her job is helping patients feel confident with their smiles. She earned her dental hygiene degree from Portland Community College and has her certification to administer local anesthesia.
Originally from Boise, Idaho, Effie has five cats and loves to crochet, read, swim, and craft in her free time. An interesting fact about her is that she has an identical twin!
Karie – Front Office Administrator
With over 35 years of experience in the dental field, our patients appreciate Karie’s extensive knowledge, as well as her ability to thoroughly answer any questions they may have. Karie’s favorite part of working at Caring Smiles Dental is getting to work alongside an amazing team and building long-term relationships with all of her patients. Karie completed her dental assisting training and expanded functions certificate from Portland Community College.
From Beaverton, Karie has two grown children and two grandchildren. In her free time, she loves shopping, volunteering at the food bank with her granddaughter, spending time at Cannon Beach, and hiking in Washington. An interesting fact about her is that she can touch her nose with her tongue!
